It was a little daunting to arrange an event long distance, but with the assistance of family and friends, we were able to pull it off. We have to recognize a few special people:<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_12052\" style=\"width: 606px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-12052\" class=\" wp-image-12052\" src=\"https:\/\/mealsofhope.org\/arizona\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2026\/01\/MOH-Chattanooga-HWH-1-976x1024.jpeg\" alt=\"Meals of Hope Chattanooga Holidays Without Hunger\" width=\"596\" height=\"625\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-12052\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Our corporate sponsors Mark (left) and Tami (right) Kuebler of KTM Builders. We are so grateful to Mark and Tami for being corporate sponsors of the event. Second row: Jonathan, Mickey, Ricky.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>Randy Dover\u00a0<\/strong>(Debbie\u2019s brother),\u00a0<strong>Jonathan Edwards<\/strong>\u00a0(Debbie\u2019s nephew),\u00a0<strong>and Mickey Dorsey &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>AKA the muscle men! Randy and Mickey showed up early to help set up, did lots of heavy lifting during the event, and stayed until all the clean up was done. \u00a0Jonathan helped \u00a0with set up by bringing coffee and hauling supplies.<\/p>\n<p>Of the 45 volunteers at the event, almost half of them were family (pictured below). Words fall short of describing how blessed we are to share Meals of Hope with them.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_12050\" style=\"width: 776px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-12050\" class=\"wp-image-12050\" src=\"https:\/\/mealsofhope.org\/arizona\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2026\/01\/MOH-Chattanooga-HWH-3-1024x807.jpg\" alt=\"Chattanooga Meal Packing Event\" width=\"766\" height=\"604\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-12050\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Dover family showed up to volunteer!<\/p><\/div>\n<p>We are grateful to\u00a0<strong>Christ United Methodist Church<\/strong>\u00a0for allowing us to use their facility and promoting the event to the congregation. Many of the volunteers were from the church. We were greatly assisted by several church staff members, including\u00a0<strong>Mike Feely, Becky Hall, and Theresa Jones.<\/strong>\u00a0It was great to see so many people come together with a heart to serve others, and making time during a very busy season to help feed those in need.<\/p>\n<p class=\"last-child\">A total of\u00a0<strong>21,440 meals\u00a0<\/strong>were donated to the Chattanooga Food Bank!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Debbie\u2019s hometown is Chattanooga, TN so when we knew we would be traveling to TN for a wedding, we wanted to have a meal packing event so that our family and friends could see what Meals of Hope is all about.
