Meals of Hope Colorado

Lynn Montoya

While growing up in Colorado I always understood the value of volunteering. Now, as the Colorado Packing Partner for Meals of Hope I hope you can share my enthusiasm for working to help fight food insecurity in Colorado. I’d like to work with corporations, civic organizations, youth organizations and faith groups who want to make a difference in their community and help put an end to food insecurity.

Colorado has over 25 food banks and several more food pantries and mobile pantries that are always in need of high protein food options.  Food Banks serve an average of 178,000 families a day throughout Colorado.

I invite you to get involved and I’d like to show you how. I can’t wait to meet you.

Meal Packing Events

Did you know there are people going hungry right in your own community? Did you also know that there’s a fun, interactive way to help them? Hosting a meal packing event is a great way to get involved in your community and have some fun while providing real help to people in need. These events are perfect for school groups, religious organizations, corporations, and any other group looking to increase their local profile while providing an important service to the community.

What Is Meals of Hope?

Who You Help

Millions of people across the country are facing food insecurity right now. It doesn’t matter your zip code, the need for the services that Meals of Hope provides is overwhelming everywhere you look.

This is what makes Meals of Hope so special. Our meal packing events send meals directly to your community, or they can be sent to other places in dire need. If you’re ready to host a meal packing event, where you choose to help is up to you. We can only promise that you’re going to be making a big difference no matter where the meals are delivered.

We’re also a tremendous presence in Southwest Florida. Our mobile food pantries and afterschool programs serve communities in Southwest Florida, and we would love your support. If you’re ready to volunteer or become a sponsor, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
