Experience That Brings Purpose
to Your Team
If you’re looking for an event that brings your organization closer together while making a meaningful impact, hosting a Meal Packing Event is a great way to do it. Volunteers work side by side to assemble nutritious meals that support families facing hunger in your community.
What surprises most groups is how energizing it is. You’re moving, you’re collaborating with people you might not usually work alongside, and you’re watching the numbers climb in real time.
Five thousand meals. Ten thousand. More. By the end of the session, your team has packed thousands of meals that go directly to families facing hunger in your area.

Common Questions
About Hosting an Event
How long does an event take?
Approximately 2 hours. Set up is usually an additional 2 hours, which is typically done the day before.
Each volunteer typically packs around 60 bags in a 2-hour event, which provides roughly 350 meals per person. A group of 50 volunteers could potentially pack about 16-25K meals, a group of 100-125 volunteers could pack 26-50K meals, and a group of 200+ would pack around 100K+ meals.
What’s the minimum group size?
We can accommodate groups of any size, from small teams to events with hundreds or even thousands of volunteers. The format scales to fit your group.
Where do the meals go?
The meals stay in your community unless you specify otherwise. We work with local food banks, schools, shelters, and community organizations to distribute meals to families who need them. You can also choose to support areas outside the United States if your organization has international partnerships. We can ship to crisis zones through partners like Convoy of Hope – at no added cost.
What types of meals do volunteers pack?
You can choose from several nutritious meal options, including Fortified Beans and Rice Casserole, Fortified Pasta with Tomato Sauce, Fortified Macaroni and Cheese, Chicken Flavored Vegetable & Rice Soup, and Fortified Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal. Each meal is fortified with 21 vitamins and minerals. Every bag contains enough food to provide 6-8 meals.
Do volunteers need any special skills or training?
Not at all. Our team provides all the guidance needed on-site or through videos, Zooms, and documents. Volunteers of all ages and abilities can participate, from children to senior citizens.
How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on your group size and event details. Request a quote and we’ll provide a clear breakdown based on your needs.
