Julyvette Pacheco
Director of Community Impact
Julyvette Pacheco joined Meals of Hope after moving from Puerto Rico to Florida nine years ago. With a background in advertising, where she worked as an Account Executive, she was looking for an opportunity where she could use her skills while making a difference in her community.
Her journey with Meals of Hope began as an Office Manager. She later became a Volunteer Coordinator, then Community Outreach Manager, and today serves as the Director of Community Impact, overseeing the Outreach and Development departments.
Julyvette is passionate about service, kindness, and giving back. Raised in a family that taught her the importance of helping others, she considers it a blessing to have built a career around serving her community. What she loves most about her work is knowing that she can help make sure families and individuals have access to the food they need while bringing people together to make an impact.
Through her work, Julyvette has the opportunity to connect with volunteers, donors, community partners, schools, and the families Meals of Hope serves. She believes that while she is helping make an impact on others, the people she meets along the way also make an impact on her. Outside of Meals of Hope, Julyvette enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters. As a family, they love exploring waterfalls, hiking, and escaping to their tiny home in the mountains of Tennessee, where they can slow down, reconnect, and enjoy time together.
Fun Fact: The family calls themselves the “J Family” because all of their names start with the letter J. 🙂
